Nice, Jerry! How do you like it so far? I bought two to try out. So far, i really like them.

I like it a lot so far. I have not done any RTZ testing yet, but quick and easy install; no large knob hanging off it. Factory mount works well, and I'm not sure just losing the knob is worth the cost, so don't know if I'm going to buy three more. [BD]

I hear you, $75 an optic isn't exactly chump change. I don't feel so bad about spending the money since i was able to re-use one of the QRP2 bases to replace the craptastic base on a Primary Arms Comp M4 style red dot i've had sitting around.

Yep! One of mine as well. I actually traded a G2S for this. I need to order the screw set though as this one is an older model that came with retaining pins instead screws with for the trigger pins.

When you have the right tool (like a 10" 5/32" driver) it wasn't that bad. Amazingly, even the SF install wasn't all that painful this time. Usually those make me want to commit homicide. Or some kind of 'cide.

Thanks guys! I was planning on putting the mount on my SPR but I think it'll be staying on the SMOS. Probably going to get a Strike Eagle or Accupoint, depending on what the bank account has to say about it.

Unfortunately Jerry, the way the room is built, it doesn't lend itself to doing anymore than finishing up the long way with 2-4 more panels at most. The rest of the room is my slash office area, so instead of a desk, I had custom built-ins installed, complete with cabinets above the desk area.

GDI RCOM E Acog mount.. Quality is top notch, have been running one on the Primary Arms 3x for years (it was a gift from Shellback Tactical during the late Banshee PC fiasco) and just picked a second one up for $37. That's a song for what you get.
