Although we remain adamant that our slings do not require a pad, we do listen to our customers requests and attempt to meet them where
feasible. That said, we are currently working on a retro-fit shoulder pad.
Like all products we manufacture, we like to think the design through thoroughly and design first article samples for fielding prior to
committing to a production run. Pictured below is our first article sample...

We wanted to make sure that the retro-fit shoulder pad would work equally well on all our current slings so we designed the length to cover
as much of the exposed sling material possible for both our ASP and GS-2P without running into or blocking access to vital sling hardware.
The pad is constructed of 1000D Cordura for the main body and binding tape. Standard mil-spec webbing for the Molle straps and two layers
of internal neoprene padding.
We also gave the pad a generous amount of width which allows the pad ( though floating ) to remain fixed on your shoulder while the sling
glides effortlessly into position when shouldering.

The underside that remains in contact with your shoulder utilizes a rubbery textured material to increase the friction between the pad and
your shoulder.

We have a few small changes to implement before having our first batch of samples made, but I thought I would let everyone know it is in
the works. If you have any features you would like to see incorporated, don't be shy. [:D]
