Saw on Rogtac that they had Noveske marked 7.62 Raptor charging handles in. I wonder if this could be foreshadowing a new Noveske 7.62x51 in the near future?

I can only confirm your suspicions are true... but not anytime soon.

I can only confirm that I will not be able to afford one after I'm done with my SBR project.

Awesome news. The more semiautomatic .308 Winchester rifles the better.

i dont know why this interests me so much other than i like noveske's stuff. im not in the market for a 308 AR and wont be for a really long time. (probably not ever) should be interesting to see what the have to offer over the competition though.

I had some work done on my Noveske 300blk barrel and I was chatting with the service rep on the other end of the line I asked why they didn't make a 308 and he assured me I was in the works but wouldn't come clean on the timeframe.... I hope I have enough time to save up the greenbacks for one.... i'm lacking a 308 ar platform

I like the two Noveske barrels I have had both way more accurate than I am, time to start saving.

I don't think it's any secret that Noveske has wanted to get back into the 308 game after the N6 went away. It's always been a matter of When, not If.

I'd beinterested to see what they come out with. Two years ago I was at a 3 gun match in MO talking with one of the guys on the NST. He was pretty tight lipped but said something was in the works that didn't take ar10 type mags. When I guessed HK G3 type mags he smiled and said those are reliable mags aren't they, he later added I was in the park. Who knows that was two years ago and many things could have changed.

Looks like a Noveske engraved Surgeon action. Don't need the brand name and they can keep the up charge. Seems like Noveske's idea of innovation anymore is who's parts can they brand.

Looks like a Surgeon. Seems like they have been a little lack-luster lately unfortunately. Everyone else seems to be progressing their product line and Noveske just isn't for whatever reason.

Who owns the company now? I'll bet it has to due with that. It's not and will never be what it once was. I still love my Noveske gear but they need to get it together

You didn't get the memo?

Noveske is just as cutting edge as they always have been... They just changed their name to Hodge Defense :)

I believe Johns wife Lorina owns the company now, and Tim Dillon is their new President. Unsure of who is responsible for product development, but it would be nice to see something new.

A lot of the crew that was at Noveske has moved on to new ventures. Sherry has Erathr3, Joel has V7 Weapon Systems and Chris is at SMOS Arms.

Does SMOS arms make the NSR? It seems like they do. It's a shame that Noveske still can't get product out in any volume since I love the NSR rail. I thought they were making it in house but since the SMOS and Erathr3 rails look similar and have the same barrel nut I start to wonder.

As for rebranding others products, how many companies really do 100% of their work in house?

They just posted pics of the gen 3 n6 on Instagram. I'm liking the switchblock NSR rail. Hoping they bring that to the 5.56 platform

I remember seeing those at the shop last year. Surprised, but not surprised on the other hand it's taking this long to bring out. They really need to offer those cutouts as a stand alone first.

Reminds me of the guy on a different forum that cut up a NSR for a front sight post. Looked great.
