URX 3.1

Wish KAC would make a URX 3.1 that didn't use an uber expensive wrench.

The 10.75" with a 11.5" barrel is my current fixation.

The URX 3.1 is one of my favorite rails. The 13.5" 3.1 is the perfect length for 14.5 barrels and the URX 3 has the integrated front sight and is around the same price as the 3.1. I finally just sucked it up and bought my own URX wrench.

Having said that, if you buy the rail from someone who stocks them, such as Weapon Outfitters, they will install the barrel (either buy it from them or ship them your own) and they will install it. The other negative about the URX rail is of course the accessory pack, which costs around $90 for some rail covers and rail panels. Ouch.

Yeah I bought one of those packs for my Geissele MK4.

I was going to go with the URX3.1 but decided on the Geissele MK IV.

Much easier to install & IIRC,lighter!

I keep trying to talk myself out of the 10.75 URX 3.1 but it's not working. I do like my 13.5" MK4.
