While I love the SCAR family of weapons, mounting a sling to the factory sling attachment points has proven to be a pain in the butt. I very much prefer QD limited rotation sling mounts and QD swivels. When using H&K-style hooks, MASH hooks, or Blue Force Gear Universal Wire Loops, my sling will twist, bunch up, or otherwise get in the way. QD limited rotation sling mounts and QD swivels solve that problem for me. Evidently, I'm not the only one that feels this way as several manufacturers have stepped up to provide QD limited rotation sling mounts for the SCAR family of weapons. Having ordered several products from IWC in the past and happy with the quality, functionality, and appearance of their products, I was one of the first in line to order their QD limited rotation sling mounts as soon as they were released for sale.

The IWC QD limited rotation sling mounts are machined from 303 stainless steel, Melonite treated for durability and corrosion resistance, and use T25 Torx Head 8-32" Grade 8 fasteners. The body of the IWC sling mounts are nicely rounded and contoured with no sharp edges. I cannot see myself ever breaking these over-engineered sling mounts. I'm certain my sling will fail before these do. In addition to functionality, the IWC sling mounts are very streamlined and look good on the rifle aesthetically.

The rear sling mount located near the cheek piece sticks out quite a bit, which is a good thing. Using H&K-style hooks, MASH hooks, or Universal Wire Loops places the sling too close to my face for comfort. The IWC sling mount places the sling far enough away from my face that I don't notice it. Note the distance of the sling from the cheek piece in my pictures:

In addition to the IWC sling mounts, I also purchased their 2-to-1 point triglide adapter. The 2-to-1 point triglide adapter gives me the option to convert a 2-point sling to a 1-point sling for situations where a 1-point sling is more appropriate than a 2-point sling. Like everything else IWC sells, the 2-to-1 point triglide adapter is over-engineered. I cannot see myself ever breaking it.

My Blue Force Gear Vickers Sling mounted to the front and rear IWC sling mounts in the 2-point configuration supports the rifle well. The rifle stays in place and will not flip over upside down when running, getting in and out of a vehicle, and so on. My sling mounted to the rear IWC sling mount and IWC 2-to-1 point triglide adapter in the 1-point configuration also supports the rifle well. The limited rotation feature of both the IWC sling mounts and triglide adapter really help in preventing the sling from twisting, bunching up, or otherwise getting in the way. Overall, I am extremely happy with the quality, functionality, and appearance of the IWC QD limited rotation sling mounts and the 2-to-1 point triglide adapter.
