Recover Tactical CC3 Grip and Rail Adapter for the 1911

Looks interesting and at a good price point, $49.99. Adds a polymer rail and grips to any standard size 1911. Designed by Tamir Porat, designer of the Tavor.

I saw a picture of it awhile back and every fiber of my being was revolted by it. It may be functional for adding a light, but a laser would never hold zero. The 1911 was forged in steel, I see no good reason to add all that polymer to it just for a light, and I certainly don't think it improves the aesthetics.

There was someone making something like this for Beretta 92 series recently. I think I might have seen it while looking at stuff from Shot Show this year

May as well add one of these while you're at it. I'm sure they'll make one for 1911's eventually:

Apparently, the impossible has happened. Everything useful in this world has already been thought of. Now we have this kind of stuff to look forward to for infinity.
