I think this will be the first big keymod accessory for me.

The key (no pun) for me will be how it mates up to the covers. I have Noveske covers now, but would happily entertain BCM or KAC covers if they match up better.

I have the KAC strips and they are not exactly comfortable, nor do they provide much grip. The Noveske ones are just as tall, so I'd go with them in combination with the BCM vfg.

I do like the shorter length of the MOD 3 better.... but being able to remove the stubby is valuable to me too. Probably 75% of our shooting is prone, and removing the grip to shoot off a pack is nice.

I did shoot the Mod 3 off a pack a few weeks back and it worked... just not as nicely had taking the grip off.
