High Velocity Arms (http://high-velocity-arms.myshopify.com/collections/hva/products/asrs) is introducing their ASRS Advanced Safety Receiver System. This essentially takes any milspec lower receiver, and turns it into a fully ambidextrous lower. The system features several components that they've previously offered, the ASTG (Advanced Safety Trigger Guard) and the AMR (Ambi Magazine Release). This system now incorporates an ambi bolt release. The bolt release offers a standard paddle for lefties, and a lever for righties. The lever fits flush with the ASTG, offering a seamless look. Pricing and availability is not known yet, but keep checking High Velocity Arms' (http://high-velocity-arms.myshopify.com/collections/hva/products/asrs) webpage for updates here (http://high-velocity-arms.myshopify.com/collections/hva/products/asrs).

Description:

The ASRS was designed to update the forged mil spec lower receiver with six artfully machined parts to make a fully ambidextrous lower receiver system. In our ASRS we incorporated the trigger guard, bolt release and magazine release into a beautifully designed, precision-cut unit.

Trigger Guard – In the trigger guard design, we incorporated a straight-line, ambidextrous, tactile surface position for the trigger finger. We believe that this simple design enhancement will help develop safe finger placement and develop muscle memory for correct and safer shooting. In addition, the trigger finger runs parallel to the barrel for faster target acquisition. We also believe that by giving your trigger finger a solid tactile contact point, it will give the shooter increased leverage for competition/tactical maneuvers and magazine changes.

Ambidextrous Magazine Release - We designed the magazine release within reach of your trigger finger which makes it easy to manipulate. We placed the left side pivot point directly over the shaft.

Bolt Release – we designed the bolt release arm to fit beautifully around the magazine release with a precision fit to the trigger guard. The bolt release gives the right handed shooter the ability to close the bolt without taking your hand off forearm rail.

Plating/Coating - Our ASRS is NiB-x Nickel Boron coated by WMD Guns, the leader in new firearm coating technologies. And (we have) a standard black version with a Military Specification Type III Hard Coat Anodized coating.

All together these pieces will give your AR an updated look and increased function for left and right hand shooting.

This is a limited run product. Made in the USA!!

Unless they get the cost down, I don't think it'll be a very big market. He sells every one he makes so far, but even HVA knows they need to get the cost down.

I agree, San Tan makes one of the best ambi lowers already.
