Midwest Industries New M-LOK Handguard

Midwest Industries First M-LOK handguard will be the 12” free float that is based on the proven design of our SSG2 handguards.
This 12” handguard weighs in at 8.5 oz. with the barrel nut and has five anti rotation QD sling swivel sockets.
The outside diameter is 1.5 inches.
This handguard is constructed of 6061 aluminum and is hard coated for a lifetime of service.
We proudly make this, like all of our products, in the USA and back it by our Lifetime Warranty.

We started this project as soon as Magpul invited us to get on board.
Yes, the Flash Hider is ours as well. We make that particular one in both 1/2x28 (pictured on the FN 5.56 barrel) as well as 5/8x24 for your 30 caliber firearms. It has proven to be very effective.

I think these should be probably close or the same as their SS Handguards? Hopefully MI can confirm.

The ID is 1.3" the OD is 1.5"

If the manufacturers pass the savings to the consumer, they should be cheaper. There's a lot less machining, and it's my understanding that's one of the biggest plus's to the whole thing.
