Rainier Arms KeyMod Evolution Rails

For those of you that liked Rainier Arms (https://www.rainierarms.com/?page=shop/detail&product_id=4532)' Evo rail, you might like their new Evo Rail version, the KeyMod. These are just like the original Evo rails, except that the 3,6, and 9 o'clock positions are KeyMod's. These rails are a Rainier Arms (https://www.rainierarms.com/?page=shop/detail&product_id=4532) Exclusive for now, so there isn't a Samson version. The rails will be available in a 15 and 12" version. Description:


This version of the Evolution Rail is a Rainier Arms exclusive. The Evolution Keymod will feature standard Keymod slots at the 3 6 and 9 o "clock positions. The Keymod will have the same hand feel and inside diameter as it "s older brother but will be even lighter. This lighter faster more adaptable EVO will perform to the same stringent standards our users have come to expect.

Interesting that they had these made as well as the Force rails. Very similar products, but I guess customers do have varying tastes.

Based on some talks with Rainier, they confirmed that KeyMod's are indeed more money to machine as these are several dollars more than their standard counterparts. A lot of people like having a standard barrel nut to install these rails, especially those with perm'ed brakes/FH's so keeping the EVO line running was never a question. It's just a nice mid-range rail for those wanting a lightweight/easy install/cost effective rail.

That and they got an exclusive from Samson.

Haven't handled the keymod version but I really liked their previos offering, very comfortable and well priced.

Yeah...toss up between the 12" force or this for my impending 10.5" pistol build.
