I've spoken with CMT Tactical who is willing to do these for us.

If you're interested, post in the thread how many you want and if you want M2 or M3 magazines.

If we get enough interest we can get the ball rolling.

With shipping, these will probably run a little higher than normal mags, probably $20 per.

They are etched on both sides.

I'll tally up the orders in another week or so.

See, in maryland 30rd mags aren't illegal. I can go out of state and buy them and bring them back. Just can't buy them or transfer them in state.

Well, before the October ban, that was legal. After I haven't heard much about it. I'll look into it.

99% of the pictures I post are taken with my cell phone. Pictures are either taken outside or at my wife's vanity as it has the best lighting in the house. I use the Nokia photo editing software to adjust lighting, shadows, and contrast.

I would say send them to me but as I only stipple when I get the urge I would not be able to give you an ETA on when I would get around to even thinking about stippling them haha.

This group buy was small relatively speaking. However, it was pretty time consuming. If there is a demand, then, yes I would consider doing another.

If/when it happens again I know I gotta at least do 5 mags minimum. Took me 3 days to stipple the 2 mags I got last time might have to recruit help or pay BC to do the next purchase haha

I'm going to say that might be too time extensive, since UWone said that it took a lot of time just to etch them on black PMAGs.

I think a lot of us are in the same boat with numerous mags. Like you said, it's hard to justify buying more, unless they offer improvements, or something aesthetically pleasing. With that said, I'm probably not going to be patient enough to do the leg work on hydrodipping magazines and then having them laser engraved. In fact the next time if we even do this will most likely be Gen3 only or Gen2 only. This is not set in stone, I'm just getting the feelers out there. I'm also up for not doing the same logo, we could have Weapon Evolution written out or some variation of the logo.

Depending on your definition of "more" that could be a large investment with no timeline for a return or guarantee of a return at all. The admins arrange these things on their own time which has a value already. Asking a company to make a financial investment for a boutique item that only really targets the membership here at the forums is a very hard sell as well.

Comp hit the nail on the head. Probably not economically viable to have a specialty item like this made up in large quantities. After the initial run of people who wanted them, there isn't going to be a huge demand. Most people have all the magazines they could possibly want this lifetime.

Think these were done by CMT on their laser etching machine. Limited run. Maybe in the future if enough new people stick around. I'd be down to buy 2-3 myself
