I live in a Condo, and I just found a little something, while digging into a pile of stuff. I found about 20 unopened Pmag's. These are old ones, I think, they are packaged in a tan pack, and look just like a "Gen 2" mag. I'm not sure when the Gen 1 were made, but all of the rest are Gen 2 or later.
Anyone know what the tan packaged mag's were? I'm assuming a gen 1?
Thanks,
FT

Colored PMags are Gen 2's.
Since they are discontinuing colored PMags I'm guessing some guys out there will be disappointed that they won't be able to get them anymore down the road.

Not me, but I believe this should answer your question.

I believe you are correct FT as the tan plastic ones were gen 1's, also different color followers? then gen 2's?

I believe that the OP is referring to the color of the packaging as tan, not the magazine itself. I remember some gen 2s coming in tan packaging, but a picture would help.

Yes. Sorry if my writing is confusing. The packages are tan, not the PMags. The magazines are the common black color.
Thanks.

Right You are...
I've got some Gen I's floating around, and I recall all the Gen I's I have or remember getting were in clear bags or had white backing on the plastic and clear fronts.
Not sure when Gen II packaging started.

Yes, I believe you're right about the clear/white bags, UW. I believe these are Gen 2's bought a couple of years ago. The cool thing was finding 20 new in bag mags, but wondering how in the heck I managed to forget them in a dusty box and dark closet.[BD]
