Yes sir; that's over 25 lbs. of pork shoulder awesomeness right there. I have my own rub formula I've developed over the years. I fine tune the flavor with the smoke; Hickory, Apple, and Mesquite wood are my favorites, with the Mesquite being #1 for all around smoking. Mesquite tends to give the pork a little sharper, spicier flavor, then Hickory, and the Apple a milder flavor.

Ha! I just smoked a couple of pork butts yesterday too! I even go so far as to make a killer bean dish, and put in the smoker at the end to gather all the drippings while the pork melts. One of these days I'll remember to get a photo...

They are to a point.. Very active cats and they can jump really high.. So i would not recommended having anything breakable or expensive on your shelves.. They are good cats though.. And im not kidding about the water thing.. Mine would jump in the bath with the ex and swim around,,

100% honesty... I'm NOT a cat person - my wife is. Just never was into an animal that was not into me! I'm a dog person thru and thru. That said, The NFC we had was awesome. I trained it to come to it's name, fetch a small ball, and it genuinely (seemed) to like being with, near, and around us. Or a MC - I hear they are nearly identical.

I constantly tell people I'd save my dog from drowning before I saved them! That raises a few eyebrows (off duty I say it of course...) But yeah, I love my dogs and would do most anything for them. Got a 12 year old giant breed, and he's still plugging along - vet age scale says he's equal to a 94 year old person! Got him the best lifting harness you can buy, just got front wrist/leg supports today for him since he is starting to hyper extend them due to using them so much to get up these days... I told the wife I'd sell my boat with all fishing gear, guns, whatever I need to just to make him more comfy. If my 23+ years in public service has taught me anything, it's people suck ([:D]) and dogs are awesome - I like mine more than probably 95% of the people I know or run into.

We sure love our dogs. Have two Finnish Lapphunds (a mating pair that still hasn't managed to make pups). They are reindeer herding dogs from Lapland. They'll herd anything though. Really good with our sheep. We have little Jojo. She's a rescue who needed a home. Not sure what her breed is. Appears to be a cross between pug and a Belgian Griffon. We just consider her to be a 'puggle'.

We do have 2 cats. They were both given to us as kittens and are house cats only. The Siamese 'General Mannerheim' thinks he owns the house. The little calico 'Marakatti' (it means a small monkey in Finnish) is really ADHD. The only couple mice that were in the house over the last 3 years they dispatched right quick.

We're more dog people than cat people though my wife does really love General and he loves her. He's her first cat ever. She's been a dog person all her life. Our dogs are never on chains and never are out for the night. They come in and go out as they please and have a very large, fenced dog run.

I got my Parallax rail today! Gotta get some good pictures...slight delay in taking 7 month old to the Doctor's office.

Got a whole new build I'm starting to plan out. 18" SPR platform to accommodate the 15" rail. I'll stick with Rainier barrels, ultimately a WAR upper (maybe not right away), CMC Trigger, and some type of optic in the 2.5-10 or 4-16 range

Seriously though, I'm thrilled to have won the upper receiver. It looks simply super on my pistol build. 4 parts to go and it will be ready to test fire. Gotta get my wife's eyes checked first though before I buy any more parts. She is number one to me. Getting that done this week. I should at least be able to order the barrel though. What I hope most is that folks who win something USE their prize as I have done with mine. If I win anything else, I know just what I'm going to do with it. I have a very good friend who would love to have an AR - I'd use it to build one for him. He buys the lower receiver and whatever other parts. I put it together for him for free. Granted though, if I were to win a .308 receiver set, I'll be building a 308 rifle. [:)]

Seriously though, I'm thrilled to have won the upper receiver. It looks simply super on my pistol build. 4 parts to go and it will be ready to test fire. Gotta get my wife's eyes checked first though before I buy any more parts. She is number one to me. Getting that done this week. I should at least be able to order the barrel though. What I hope most is that folks who win something USE their prize as I have done with mine. If I win anything else, I know just what I'm going to do with it. I have a very good friend who would love to have an AR - I'd use it to build one for him. He buys the lower receiver and whatever other parts. I put it together for him for free. Granted though, if I were to win a .308 receiver set, I'll be building a 308 rifle. [:)]
