Nice barrel, I like the select line. Very affordable, and good shooters.

Stick gave away a rifle length VLTOR VIS, ultimately, I ended up buying a carbine length one from Rainier as I had the 10.5 switchblock. It's a great match.

My current Select isn't the MedCon; it's the full heavy profile (only a few ounces beefier but I like it!). I only see the medium contours for sale now so they must have been more popular. My next Rainier barrel I'm looking at the next level up, the 18" SPR/Match series in matte stainless....and I believe they're only available in .223 Wylde

Is the Innovative Arms WAR upper still in the giveaway? I didn't remember seeing it go out. Hope someone with a suppressor gets it (or who is in a suppressor legal state!)

Congrats to all of the winners, we still have a few things to giveaway. We'll probably take a break, and giveaway those items around SHOT time.

Also, I just wanted to personally thank all of you who have religiously entered, liked, and thanked all of the vendors. I know we've had some disgruntled people complaining about various things in the giveaway, but I appreciate your patience. Seems crazy to complain about using this as a marketing tool right? Isn't that why manufacturers donate to giveaways?

Again, congrats to the winners, and the people who will still win this month. I hope by the time we hit 200k, this process will be smoother.

Another gun forum I'm on just switched from vBulletin to XenForo and you can "like" stuff...it notifies you when someone likes or quotes your posts and has no way to "View in Desktop Mode" for mobile users and I hate it!!!! I spend half the time there because I can't stand the layout

On a serious note, this is one of the dangers of doing giveaways. You get a bunch of riff raff who's sole reason for becoming a member here is because it's a requirement to have a chance at free stuff. They don't care about the true community here, and they'll be ghosts until the next giveaway is announced. I for one am very glad that I joined this forum, and yes it was initially because of the giveaway... Hey we all got here somehow.. I do appreciate the warm welcome that all the veteran members here have given... Its been stated by others that this forum is a lot different than most.. I love that the typical BS that is seen on most others is absent here. I thought the Outrageously Huge giveaway was epic, and will be one for the books, and in full disclosure, I got drawn for a nice prize. But I'll be glad when this thing is finally over, and hopefully this thread is closed.

It was a long three months (almost) with 75% of the posts either being in the "I'm In" thread, or the giveaway discussion thread. (nearly 4000 posts). Of the remaining posts, it seemed like 80% of those were in the lounge discussing condiments and whatever, folks just hanging out to see if they won anything.

Lately the firearms threads have started to come back to life, with real discussions, reviews, pics, industry news, etc., taking back the lion's share of the posts. Back to the "Pre-Giveaway WEVO" that made this forum so great and loved by it's members. Even some of the best members who ducked out, are finally poking their heads out of the foxholes and posting again, as the dust has started to settle, having gone dormant until this thing drew close to an end.

Kill the contest any way you choose, mass giveaway/drawing or whatever and let WEVO heal for a while... I miss the "pre-giveaway" WEVO.[:D] I'd love to see WEVO be the "place to come" for all the latest on AR's and other tactical weapons, knives etc., not the place to come to win something. Now you've got discussions on when the next giveaway will be. Cut the snakes head off, UWone77.
