SIONICS Weapon Systems (http://sionicsweaponsystems.com/store/category.php?id_category=28) keeps putting out some great products lately. Their latest offering is geared towards weight reduction. Using specific lighter weight components, this rifle comes in at 5lbs 8.7oz, making for one of the lightest factory guns on the market. In typical SIONICS (http://sionicsweaponsystems.com/store/category.php?id_category=28) fashion, they only use high quality components, centered around their own 16" Lightweight barrel. Sort of like my "ultra-lite" without the T1 and MBUS. A friend of mine has that stock. Very nice, but really only slightly lighter than a Magupul. The barrel looks very thin, but I can only guess from the picture. I have the Adams Arms Voodoo Lite barrel. I like it, but it must have some kind of sighting system, not seen in the last picture?

Very cool, but where's the sights?[:D]

Been running one of those stocks for a little bit now and absolutely love it. The comfort level of the minimalist stock is what I like, the weight and price is just an added perk.

You know FT, I was thinking the same thing. I realize manufacturers want to list the lowest weight possible, and yeah, I get that you could argue that most people want to choose their own sights. However, the rifle in that configuration is not usable, so I think you have weight it with some sights, any sights.
