I just picked up my first M&P the other day used and they said it came with an Apex trigger in it. Is there anyway to see from these photos if this is true ?

That is definetely NOT a APEX trigger.

I have installed 2 and have one of the guns still, it is the poly version and really like it.

You cant tell if its the apex kit by just looking at the pic of those springs. I opted to re use my stock springs with my Apex kit to make the trigger lighter.

Anymore questions, just ask, have done a few apex kits and the burwell DIY trigger job on another..

Also just to show the Op a apex trigger, here is a pic from their site of the Apex AEK trigger

I have 2 M&P's, a .40 and .45ACP and they both have APEX FSS triggers installed. I'm wondering, who is "they"? Was it a dealer? Who did "they" say installed them, a previous owner? It may have elements of one of the APEX trigger kits that just consist of a couple of parts to give it a crisper break. APEX makes several kits with a couple that improve the trigger but does not include the whole trigger group. Maybe that's what "they" meant? Some of the kits are for duty carry, where a trigger like the FSS would definitely be "taboo" by probably every LEO agency in America.

Why don't you visit APEX's site and see what's available, then compare the pieces in your weapon?

Also, I don't know what ever came of it, but there were rumors flying everywhere that Randy Lee of APEX was in talks with S&W, to produce trigger groups and components for the M&P.

Don't know if this helps or not, but I would definitely start with a visit to APEX's website.
