He got a rainier flash hider, not a lantac. I forget who got the drakon.

I keep meaning to call Rainer to see what I need to do, but the time difference makes it difficult. Only reason I even mentioned it is because I tried it on 3 different brand new barrels and same problem. All my other muzzle devices go on like butter..

I just hate to be THAT guy who complains over something he won.. If I still had my taps I'd fix the problem myself and never made a peep

So I was lucky enough to be chosen to test out the MFT mags and Uwone said there was a little something extra tossed in. I was quite surprised to see such a large box arrive.
Expecting no more than the mags and the herp, I was dumbfounded when I opened it.

Never tried them at all. They literally went from my desk to Pyzik's shipping box.

Just playing with them here in the house they feel a (VERY) tad bit smaller dimensionally than Pmags. I have calipers. As part of the review I'll measure them against Gen 2 & 3 Pmags and a Bushy mag

Do you have the latest NTD lower? I have one that they put out before the last revision, and it seems like it doesn't have any trouble with Pmags.


I got my receiver set last June. Sent it back to Dustin they blew out the magwell and sent it back to me raw. Even raw it still held onto the Gen 2's just enough so they didn't fall freely without some wiggling of the rifle. Gen 3's have no issue. But all the pmags I have are Gen 2's. Switching to all USGI metal mags as they slide out faster than the shaved Gen 2's.
