it's been a while but I am coming along on my build. I am now looking for a gas block. I am going low profile. Is there any difference between getting a set screw setup vs clamp style? I was looking at the VLTOR. Thanks

With the setscrews, you can dimple the barrel, which should lock everything together a little more. Vltor makes outstanding products, and either would work well for you.

Are you covering it with an extended rail?

yes sir I am. I purchased the VLTOR CASV-M (which is a really good looking piece of hardware in my opinion)and have a 16" barrel.

okay so I have been reading on M4carbine.net that if I were to use a KX3 flash hider on my 16" barrel it would "over gas" the system...I understand from everything I have read that it is not necessary but truth be told, I just like the look of it. Would it cause damage to use it?
