I've been kicking around the idea of grabbing one and am seeking input from y'all. Seems like a good product for $100 and PA's Red dots are well liked so one would think the lights would be GTG. Appreciate any and all feedback.

It looks absolutely huge.

Are you planning to use this on a rifle? Have you used weapon mounted lights before?

Yes and yes lol. The center part is removable if you wanna run it as a 2 cell.

I am currently running a Inforce WML

I would stick with the Inforce, or wait for Arisaka to release their mini-scout bodies.

Lol. Just checked and it's still over 6" in the 2 cell configuration. That's almost as big as my .... SBR 😄

Looks basically identical to my UTG weapon light. I don't run it as a weapon light unless I'm just messing around or hunting. It's the brightest handheld flashlight I own, but the battery life is very low. The reason I don't run it as a weapon light is because it makes the rifle feel at least 5 lbs heavier. Especially being up front. I have an Insight M3 that I replaced it with.

I'm definitely going to grab a mini-scout body from Arisaka. Guess I'll pass on this one. Thanks for the input.

It's very big, and bright. Let me get you a comparison pic.

UTG on top, M3 on bottom.

It looks a lot like the old gen 1 Shurefire lights the army used 10-12 years ago

Honestly, for a weapon mounted light these would be my only options:

Surefire X300
Surefire Scout M300, M600, ect
INFORCE WML's

Or if you're ok with putting one together, the upcoming Arisaka Scout bodies with Malkoff Heads.

Really glad you posted this. I don't have a WML but I've been toying with the idea. Good to see your go to lights. Thanks!!

I'm selling my WML. Have a buddy that's giving me a new SF Defender that I'll try out in the mean time. I want a scout but will probably wait until Arisaka is ready

Our full size UWL has a long throw (100+ yards) head and a true weapon light fully captured design. That means the battery do not move under recoil. No banging into the circuit board. CREE LED

For shorter rang our samller light will have a wider spill and do a better job of filling a room.

My buddy didn't come thru so I went ahead and picked up a SF 6px defender. Combined with a Arisaka mount I'm loving it.
