I personally never saw a need to remove the rail once I installed one but it is a good looking rail.

Honestly, I think they need to make the ID larger to fit suppressors, if they want to maximize the ability to take the rail off.

Otherwise, you can still have multiple set ups on multiple sleeves for the same rifle to quickly change configurations.

Good point but that would eliminate the need to build multiple rifles ;)

The SWITCH Rail for now will only be offered in 12" and then 15"

The new REV Gen2 will be offered in all lengths, but will lose the bottom rail.

Never said hate, but yes I am jealous. And I don't follow directions very well. Always been an against the grain type... Lol

Simmer down Ride... it's merely a sticker. That's an old Rainier Forged Lower that I stuck a sticker on several years back. [:D]

Sorry, I don't know the answer to this. I don't have an XLP

Yes, 12 and 15" planned for the SWITCH.

I don't think they'll make any other lengths, as the REV Mod2 is coming out, which will fill the other lengths.

Rev 2 Gen would be a nice guard to go on SBR. I will be building 8.5 inch SBR and 7.5inch rails are hard to find. I am limited to couple of choices.

Ah snap. Now I must wait. Was looking at a rail. Do you by chance know what the ID of the current 12" is? Would assume it would be the same. Please be 1.5".

Hey UW, if you had to choose between the rev and the switch which would you choose? And why? I have a rev on one of my SBR's and I have the 308 switch. Kinda wonder if I should sell the rev so I'll have matching rails

You mean 1.8 right?? They would sell a lot if they just opened it up for a suppressor.
