Sorry to post a link to another forum, but there is a great discussion about it on the last few pages.

Basically those letters are just opinion letters and only refer to the person stated.

That letter does not have the power of law.

You cannot be prosecuted for doing exactly what that letter says unless you are that person it is address to since "you should know" now that you've been told.

Technically reading it would mean the same thing.

Until the ATF comes out and says "this is not designed for shoulder mounted fire" I'd say its fair game just like the sig brace.
