Flip vs twist

Aimpoint recommends the twist off mount for the Aimpoint PRO.

Was wondering why they would recommend it vs the flip to side mount

Just picked up a Aimpoint pro and a guy on local forum has a new Aimpoint magnifier w/ Larue flip to side mount for a good price.

I like them both. Don't think it matters how it flips. I have an ADM swing mount for sale if you don't end up getting the other.
