The popularity of offset red dot optics as a secondary sighting system has been increasing in the past few years. The key to this mount’s success is that it is on the same circular plane, meaning the same relative height over bore, as a majority of primary optics. The approximate 33° offset offers a very natural cant of the rifle and makes picking up the dot extremely fast and fluid.
