Raising the Bar... Again

The Omega is the shortest, lightest, and quietest .30 caliber rifle silencer on the market, combining the best features from the Harvester, Saker, and Specwar series into one leading-edge product.

Yea, well, now that they may have a blue box program itll definitely be.

I like the looks of this... I have been debating between the Saker and Harvester both, and trying to make an educated decision. Looks like procrastination has finally paid off. Now I just need to figure out how to fund this acquisition!

I still don't know how I feel about the anchor brake. I have read that it creates some unpleasant lateral noise

I'll stick with my Sakers and Specwar.....I don't see how it's really a huge improvemt over their other offerings.

I'm tempted by how much lighter it is than the Saker, but I'm pretty confident I'm still going to go with a Saker instead.

I like the idea of being able to swap it out between my Carbines (including a future SBR build) as well as my 7mm Rem Mag hunting rifle. I am looking for a can that will allow me a lighter weight option when hunting as well as one that can handle my carbines at more than 1 shot ever couple of seconds (what was recommended on the Harvester). Looks like this one should fill both of those options and save me some $$$ in the process.

Yes. there's a thread on m4c about it.

I'm not sure that's an accurate statement.

First, these marketing guys should really leave "quietest" alone. Second, I believe there are shorter and lighter .30 cal cans available.

Finally, if they make one without that stupid "brake" on the end (a) it might meet their weight/length claims and (b) I might want one.

ETA:
They do seem to indicate that other endcaps might be available. I'd prefer to simply have 7" of full can, rather than 6" of can and 1" of "brake".

Silencerco also has a "Pro" Deal too, available much like the AAC Pro deal

Roughly 50% off for employees of authorized dealers.

Well I skipped the Omega as I don't see a huge improvement and went with a newly released FDE Saker....
