I've had the DDM4v7 for a while and it's been a great rifle. It's been 100% reliable with any ammo I've fed it to date but a few months back I went to install the Magpul K2+ grip on it only to find out the grip screw was bound into the lower receiver. Well, I called DD and their CS was great. Sent out a shipping label within the day and I had the rifle back a few days later with a new lower (threading was slightly out of spec).

Pros:
-CHF 16'' mid-length 1 in 7 CL barrel
-7075 upper/lower. Lower has a slightly flared magwell for faster reloads
-mil spec, full auto, CL BCG. 158C MP bolt, 8620 carrier
-Current models come with DD furniture
-Modular Float Rail (12'')
-Consistent accuracy (see video)
-Great customer service

Cons:
-The rail is somewhat heavy by current standards
-Realatively expensive (MSRP is in the $1600 range but street price is lower)

Here's the review video where I do some shooting, go over my experience with the rifle, an accuracy test, and a discussion of the features it has:

As usual, concise with all the info I want and plenty of outdoor action shots.

The only reason I swapped my V7 lw was the rail. Felt great but smooth texture very slippery in hot sweaty weather. VFG or handstop a must on this one. It was my first AR. I was too ignorant to just swap rails. Wish I still had it.
