FDE makes sense, not so sure about the carbon fiber look though. Wouldn't mind seeing an OD green.

As they were only distributed thru cabelas , so sounds like everyone will carry them now..??

I think S&W did give people what they wanted, I do believe they listen or folks would turn away.

I think the FDE is cool.

I think the other one looks like a taxi cab.

The FDE has already been available from them in the past though, as Mustangfreek stated. I know what you're saying FT, but to me it feels like they bunted instead of hitting a home run.

I don't have an mp or put my eyes on one. I knew the vtac models were FDE but is the shading different? That was my thought.

It does look darker than the existing FDE. At least in the pictures

If you are going to make a dark earth pistol, make it dark earth. Not only the part your hand covers 75% of.

Here's a pic from Cabella's of the one that's been out. Hard to tell if the new one is darker, or if it's just the lighting.

The vtac is a different shade of the cabelas model, and doesnt even look the same as this "new " fde color..hummm

The Dark Earth looks good, though I don't understand why the backstrap is black...

As for the airsoft looking fake carbon fiber wrap - did Cohen leave Sig and get a job with Smith??
