What's the next piece you're wanting to buy? My rifle assembly process isn't an exact science. I usually end up buying one component and slowly assembling a rifle around it. And I'm probably slower at the process than the rest of you, about a 2 year time frame for me.

I have started this one with a BAD-15 lower that's gonna be SBR'd. And I keep getting drawn to a Lantac UAR to go with it, no particular reason why I just like it. I'm also waiting on BCM to release either a 11.5" BFH ELW or a 12.5" BFH ELW.

One of them 3 components is next on my hit list. What's next on yours?

I have been on a rebuild kick lately. The only thing I need for my next rebuild is to decide on what Optic an mount I am going to put slap on a 20 H-bar barrel.

I am leaning for simple and something I have never messed around with too much. A Leupold Mark AR MOD 1 1.5-4x20mm P5. Probably a duplex since I can save about 120 bucks off the fire dot. The Mount is still up for grabs

My style is usually to really try to think through what I am getting. It took me quite a long time to actually buy the stuff to build my AR (this was from a lot of different reasons). After owning one that I put together pretty much myself I am now trying to develop very specific preferences and I am still in experimental stage. Right now I am testing ammo. I am trying to sort out which ammo is the best for my needs and which one the rifle likes the best.

I usually take a very scientific methodology to decide what I want. For the most part I am really glad I took the time to get quality parts for my AR. The only part that I didn't take an extremely long time to buy was the optic. Mainly that was because of money constraints. I just read some reviews and bought it because the price was right on some pre-Christmas sale....

That said for my current AR I was just looking at the US Optics page and they have a 1-8x FFP optic that I was looking at. That thing just might be the stuff for me. I don't know for sure. The more I read and look the more I want to see and try. I will probably take another few months to learn about scopes but always its a little leap of faith regardless of the part. It takes owning and using a particular component to really learn it's traits. That said I am of the school that if you know your equipment and it's tendencies and quirks you develop habits around using them.

So for me I am trying to sort out ammo preferences (mainly because I get some jollys from accuracy)... once I do that I will probably buy a few cases of whatever I pick just so that I can have consistency. At the same time I want to upgrade my optic.

I need to finish my Stickman/San Tan Receivers. No clue what direction I'm going with that.

Waiting to buy a Fortis REV II 14" on my CMT Left Handed Upper

Sent 2 14.5" Rainier Arms Mountain Barrels to the Smith to be cut and re-threaded to 10.3"

If I go with the Leupold Mark Ar I will probably go with the Mark 2 IMS 1" Integral Mounting System for simplicity. With my limited dealing with that type of scope I think that would be the ticket.

That SR-8C 1-8X Red Dot is a sexy piece. Outta my price range, but I'd love to have one.

I just hate not knowing things. Which sort of makes me a sponge about asking a billion questions and trying to learn. Learning about all these components has seriously been a crash course.

I was looking at this one....

http://www.usoptics.com/optics/sr-8s.html

There are just so many choices it makes it difficult unless you can just go somewhere and pick them up and play with them a little bit. I hate spending money on things I don't really understand all the way. Things like 'why is the SR8-S $500 cheaper than the SR8-C?" just drive me nuts.

If I had 100 million in the bank I would just not really care. I could just buy and try and figure out what I like. But I don't have that option... not yet at least.

Silencerco saker 7.62 or omega 7.62,and a 1911 (Springfield TRP Operator, TRP stainless, or Dan Wesson Specialist). Thinking that the suppressor should be my next move, as I don't have one and would like to have one for hunting season.

What makes the SR-8C different is that not only does it have cross hairs, but it also uses beam splitter technology. Basically incorporating both a red dot and cross hairs. Here's a pic from Bobro's Facebook page that shows what I'm talking about.

current plans are better glass. what I get will largely depend on what I can put away and find a deal on that I can hide from the wife to be as she freaks out over paying for the wedding... I did see someone selling a razor HD gen 2 for a stupid low price on Armslist and I hate i don't have cash to pick it up. anyone need a kidney?

I have 2 pistol builds I need to finish. One I have been working on for like a year. Just never got around to completing it due to getting distracted. I am currently trying to decide on barrel lengths. Once I get that figured out I will be in the market for a barrel and rail. Thinking about going 10.5" and building one in 300 blackout.

I'm actually consolidating this year. I have a couple uppers and rifles that I just don't use anymore. I do want a CZ Scorpion Evo though.

I'm on the wait list for a BAD-15 without the rollmark. I have pretty much everything else I need for my next build either in hand or budgeted for, except the suppressor. Money stuff, gonna have to wait a few more months to get that. After that, no gun purchases for a while; just got on the wait list for a full house 1911 build and that is going to be spendy.

Next piece is a handguard for a lightweight build. I'm waiting on SLR Rifleworks to run a sale again so I can pick up a Solo Ultra-Light. I'm just a bit on the fence about KeyMod or M-Lok and if I should go with 13", 14", or 15".

I should pick up another Aero Precision stripped lower, too.

And I really need to setup a trust...

It was going to be the Mega slide lock CH, but i ordered that yesterday

I would guess that next thing will be a match grade middy barrel for throwing together a 2 gun/3 gun rifle. Of course I have to finish my M&P which is gonna get a new stainless threaded barrel and some Damato's stippling

A rail that will fit over a pinned 14.5 w/ground down FSB. Waiting to see what's new from SHOT Show.

HK VP9 will probably be next handgun if it feels comfy. Or a Walther PPQ if better fit.

Well I managed to get one thing off my list quicker than expected. Came across a little extra money from cleaning out my safe and was able to to a little trade for a VP9. That was a biggie on my list.

The other things on my list are...

1. The new AAC illusion pistol suppressor
2. San Tan build of some sort
3. Maybe a new Kris Vector in 9mm if the taxes are good enough to spare a little
4. A DMO knife
5. Actual training classes in both pistol and carbine.

List is not something I will probably complete or expect too anytime soon.

How much is a reasonable price for a hunting/precision rem 700 to end up putting in the upcoming magpul stock? I'm contemplating it for getting into deer hunting this year.

I'm easy. I'm going to start building one of those SD Tactical suppressors, starting with their brake and blast shield. Then get the Form 1, then buy and assemble the rest.

Most of what I see in my area is $600-$800 depending on barrel, model etc...

I've got a Salient Arms receiver set that will be Cerakoted soon (hopefully). I'm not sure what barrel I want to use on it. I've got a LW DD 16" and LW 14.5" BCM, but I may go with something else.

Also, my Accupoint 1-4 will be going on the Salient rifle, so I'm looking at getting an SWFA 10x42 for my Mega billet rifle.

Where to begin…

Probably going to Form 1 SBR a couple more lowers.

Would also like to get another can (or two).

New glass. And of course mounts for said glass. At a minimum, I'd like to get another 1-4x scope for an upper i'm almost finished with.

S&W Model 29 - from their "S&W Classics" line. 6 1/2" barrel, blued finish, total Dirty Harry piece. :P

Another H&K VP 9 would be nice to have. It's become a favorite of mine to shoot.

A trigger job for my HK45… That trigger feels like shit. Double action is rough and gritty, single action is creepy and anything but smooth. After 1000 rounds or so of live fire and God only knows how many times being dry fired, you'd think it'd have broken in by now. Maybe i'll get up the nerve to tear it down and replace a bunch of parts lol.

2015 is planned out to be the year of the AK. So my plan is to choose a good muzzle device that I can live with being pinned on.
Planning to chop my Saiga .223 to 14.5, cut off the front sight and pin the muzzle device.
