Apex, NC, February 3, 2015 - Arisaka LLC is pleased to announce the release of its new Offset Scout Mount.

The Offset ScoutŪ Mount is a low profile KeyMod mounting solution for the Surefire Scout LightŪ M600 and M300 series weapon lights. It utilizes Bravo Company's patent pending inverted KeyMod screws, making the mount less than 0.165" thick. The light is positioned at a 45 degree angle and has four lateral mounting positions, which allows the light to be tucked in close to the top Picatinny rail or positioned outwards to gain clearance around front sights or other accessories. The Offset ScoutŪ Mount can also be paired with the Arisaka 300 Series Light Body for an even lower profile light setup.

The Offset ScoutŪ Mount is compatible with most KeyMod handguards like the Noveske NSR, Bravo Company KMR, Knight's Armament URX4, Geissele SMR MK4/5 KeyMod, and Midwest Industries SSK.

Weighing only 0.4 oz, the Offset ScoutŪ Mount is manufactured out of 6061 aluminum and type III hard coat anodized. Like all Arisaka products, it is made entirely in the USA.

Ooo nice. Certainly looks like a better setup on your PWS than the inline mount.

I want either that or the switch. I have a rev 1 that I got when they first came out and another for the T&E. (Thanks UW and fortis) I just Kiel everything fortis in general!

I think Fortis finally got this one right. The REV II feels really good in the hands and getting rid of the bottom and side rails at the ends were a big plus. For the money, these are a good deal. Now if they would just make a SWITCH with an ID big enough for a suppressor, they might have something...

Any plans for a picatinny rail version? I ask because my duty gun is non keymod/mlok, and of course, I still have lots of weapons with traditional rails.

As a matter of fact, yes. :)

No time frame just yet.

These seem to sit way closer than the impact weapon components/ HSP thorntail mounts and that's why I really want one!!
