from my understanding they have to make a mold to make the patch and the production for the mold is not worth the cost for only a couple of patches

Righto. I had some patches made up for my local gun org and 100 patches were $260, the mold was another $160.

For the 50 patches I plan on ordering adding the cost of the mold wasn't worth it.

Yep. I've been thru this having motorcycle patches made. They wanted me to get 350 patches to make a 3D mold for PVC patches

The cool thing with the mold though is, I just ordered another 100 patches and they were just the $260 so I can lower the price a bit and profit margin still went up a tad.

Thanks for the support guys. I've decided I'll just do it three different ways. I am gifting to you guys. This forum has given me a lot both in discussion and in the generous contests. Shoot me an email with info and I'll send em out.

For the other guys....

PistolPay, which I've used in the past. It's very similar to PayPal but obviously gun friendly and the fees are lower. The biggest difference is how funds are released to the seller.
Money Order/Check, prefer money order but I trust you guys.
I'll do PayPal. As most will expect I'd prefer as gift (if you use your bank account there are no fees). But if someone does it standard I'll accept just leaves me with pennies.


Don't forget to include your address! :)

Also, cash if anyone is so willing to send it.

By "these patches" do you mean ones written with Ammosexual, or something completely different?

If you are referring to the former - I'd be down for the exact same thing ... but if it must be a different color - I think black (patch) and red (text) would make for a nice contrast (a mixup from the typical black and white color scheme).

Personally, I think this patch would look nicer if it was more of a curved shape - akin to the Army's various tabs (ie: Ranger, Airborne, Special Forces, Mountain, etc) ... but then again, I'm also biased towards the Army [BD]
