I think if they built in a cheek weld that it would help this stock out. But even without it, it'll probably end up on light weight rifles every where.

Saw this at shot.

This plus law folding equals awesome

That would be pretty cool, it would offset the weight of the Law Tactical folding assembly.

Its not that heavy.

Their web-site says it's 10.625 oz for both the housing and carrier extension. It's location is a good place for the added weight though.

Thats interesting. Pair that with one of the lightweight receiver sets and you have my interest.

This + A5 RE = profit.

This + A5 RE + Law Folding Adapter - 6" in barrel length = profit.

Wonder if they're making new receiver extensions for these stocks? Or do these work on pistol and rifle length extensions also?

yeah, they posted some photos on their IG and facepalm. The stock for their RE is a little different from the one for mil-spec tubes.

That would be a great SBR setup, it's true!

These will probably be popular with the light weight guys, but I wonder if it's much lighter than a MFT Minimalist Stock? Is giving up a cheek weld, adjustability and a rubber pad worth saving maybe 3oz?

That looks uncomfortable as heck and it might make the balance seem off, but I guess it will sell for those that think they need absolute minimal weight. During real use, weight savings is most noticeable toward the front of the gun.

I think that weight, or lack of it, at that end of the rifle is irrelevant to those who aren't carrying the thing all day. I'm sure there's a use and a market for this thing....I just can't quite figure what it is.
