I am looking to pick up a shot timer. Currently looking at the PACT Club Shot Timer III. Has anyone used one of these? Pros/Cons? What are you guys using if not one of these? Where is the best place to buy one?

I have watched a couple reviews on this particular model and one guy said you can pick them up for $90 bucks but everywhere I have looked they are like $139.

I have used the Pocket Pro II Timer (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00CQ6ONEU/ref=as_li_tl?ie=UTF8&camp=1789&creative=390957&creativeASIN=B00CQ6ONEU&linkCode=as2&tag=reviews01f3-20&linkId=SC4DK5WZ3UQPAVSN) for years. They are not indestructible and have a good amount of variable settings available. So I'd suggest you take a good look at them. I have seen other timers, used other timers, this one seems to be the best feature oriented and over robustness is definitely a positive factor.

Second voodoo's rec. I've been using mine over the last 8 months regularly and it's a great tool. Seemed to be a better purchase than the PACT after I did my research...at least for my use.

Comp have you tried any of the shot timer apps? I've used one on a Droid and it worked pretty good.

I think he has but is probably limited since he uses a windows phone...

There also pretty tough if you're trying to shoot by yourself. Being able to hear the beep as well as keep it somewhere where you can get to it can make it challenging. A little easier if someone else can hold it and start it for you.

Yep tried the ones for iPhone on the wife's phone but I want something more accurate and a real shot timer fits the bill.
