The SVCOMP was designed to do what other compensators do, reduce recoil and eliminate muzzle rise. The difference, however, is that we took our design beyond the needs of a recreational or competitive shooter. Keeping in mind the needs of patrolmen, servicemen, and operators, we added several features that put our product in the lead for professional use. No other muzzle device boasts such a utilitarian approach while maintaining appealing aesthetics.

I find the glass break and wire cutter at the end of the comp interesting for LEO work. Reminds me of the LMT a little. However, not sure how often I'd use it in real world applications.
Anyone going to use one?

Seems to create a lot of muzzle dip. Looks like its pushing down pretty hard.

Looks cool but breaking supported window glass is harder than most people think. I wonder how well it would actually work.

If you know how to break a window its pretty easy, you don't need a special device (it does help though) to do it.
Especially with a rifle.

I used to think glass-breaking tools were stupid until I actually tried to smash a window out on an SUV once using elbo strikes. I'm around 190#, and used to fight full contact and lift regularly. That window did not break for me. I was wailing on it pretty damn hard (as hard as I could, basically). You need something sharp/ceramic/metallic to pop glass. Even passenger window glass, with any efficiency.

I can't tell you how many drunks/tough guys I've seen punch car windows at full force... only to have the window not only stay in tact, but have serious injury inflicted on the guy hitting the window.

I was smart enough not to punch it with my fist. I've always been trained that fists in fights only lead to broken hands. I use elbos, open hands, etc. etc. Basically anything but my fist, unless ribs are the target, or something else "soft", but punching a guy in the face? Only in a movie or with gloves.
As to a window...yeah, I was stunned. I went easy on it the first 2 strikes, but then threw my whole weight into the elbo strike. Nada. It flexed inward visibly and was just damn fine.

Break stuff! Break stuff! Break stuff!
If you won't let me borrow one for a few days and I will!
I love all the awesome MD's, especially this one, but I like my suppressor better! So "MY" guns will have the AAC 51T mounts.

I have to agree, it grows on you the more you look at it. And at $75 it's a decently priced option.

Unfortunately, there is no glass to break... I guess I could just take it to someone's car, but I think that's frowned upon.
Could be used to pick up trash on the side of the interstate.[BD]

Yes, actually
Any older (pre 95) models usually don't have the doors stripped off
