Shot my first match today!!!

It was a 2 gun match. Carbine and pistol. It was loads of fun and I can't wait to go next month for the 3 gun buddy match. I learned alot. Smooth is fast kept me froming doing something stupid and DQ'ing. I finished 27th out of 56. I need more practice for sure. Not necessarily on the shooting, but on mag changes and timing them. Also, having holsters would help for the mags and an owb holster for my pistol. Going over the course of fire continually before you are on the line helps too. I fumbled the first stage because I forgot the course. Here is a video of the last stage.

Nice, I wish we had some courses to run here in middle GA. I really wouldn't worry about how I placed would just like to run the course with others.

Not much close to me. ATL has some stuff going on but that's over 2 hrs for me. I have recently found out about a membership range that's about 20 min away and I know they have distance comps but I don't know what else. I'm slated to visit with a member soon so i'll find out. It's gated and 100 bucks a year so pretty upscale for these parts.

Most places around here you dont have to be a member to compete.
