Does anyone have a relative (or relatives or anyone close) buried in the Normandy American Cemetary?
If so, please PM me their info (name, rank, location etc) and I will do my absolute best to visit, pay respects to, and take pictures of them for you. I don't know if I'll have the ability to do a shading but I can try.
Regardless, I'll have a ton of pics when I get back. I was able to do some touring in Italy when I was still on active duty but due to the specific tours my wife and I went on we were never able to stop at any of the American Cemeteries...mainly time constraints. Out of our week in Paris coming up, I made sure Normandy gets a full day.
