Looking at the price point I'm guessing this isn't a BFH model?

Any news of a 16"? I get a bad taste in my mouth when I think about 14.5's and having to pin and weld.

I saw that and thought I might like the 16" version if I still don't have a barrel when it comes out.

No they do not. They source their BFH barrels from FN. However their standard barrel are rumored to come from a few sources. I have never heard a definitive answer but most lean towards Criterion or Mossberg.

Do you have any proof that FN makes their barrels? Hear a lot of interweb rumors but that's all they are. BCM has never stated their source. And there are a lot more hammer forges in this country then the 2 everyone mentions.

Honestly it's irrelevant who manufactures the barrels as the are made to BCM specs. Just because someone makes a said barrel for someone else it is in no way an indication that buying a barrel from the manufacturer is the same as the one they make for BCM.

I saw a post on M4C that BCM made barrels in house. Don't know which bbl type though.

I would buy this today in 16". Sick of 14.5" pinned limits on what rails I can swap in. If only we could have an industry standard barrel nut like the Geissele. I know, nevah happen GI. (As the Tu Do street buy-me-tea girls put it.)
