Was asked to do a review on this product and I feel it's pretty worthy for it. I will say so far it has been exactly what I thought it was. A cheaper, more lightweight, and more rigid alternative to the SB which has already been extremely popular. Out of the package the brace is essentially everything it is advertised of being.

Included in the kit-
Shockwave Blade pistol stabilizer
KAK Shockwave tube
Castle nut
Mil-spec receiver endplate
Carbine buffer spring
Standard carbine buffer

The design is fairly simple, but seems to be rugged. The Blade slides onto the KAK tube and uses a hex type bolt to screw into the index holes in the KAK tube. This mechanism seem to be very sturdy so far, but I have yet to really beat it up. Further testing will prove if it will hold up, but in hand the Blade seems extremely well thought out.

The entire kit assembled feels extremely light. The Blades advertised weight is 5.0 ounces which mine was exactly. The rear profile gives a good idea of how thin it is compared to conventional braces.

Initial Impression 9/10 - Extremely minimalist, but solid build and great price make it a no brainier for someone assembling a pistol or waiting on an SBR stamp. IMO looks 100 times better than the SB.

Info from Shockwave's website:

Shockwave is proud to introduce the patent-pending Blade pistol stabilizer. Made from high-strength glass-reinforced polymer, the Blade is manufactured to exacting tolerances and fits all pistols equipped with a standard AR-15 pistol buffer tube (up to 1.25″ in diameter). No special receiver extension needed. No half-hour installation process. Just slip it on and tighten the large set screw for a rock-solid installation.

This veteran-designed and U.S.A.-manufactured shooting aid improves your marksmanship by providing additional support of your pistol while you still hold and operate it with one hand. The Blade incorporates a vertical “fin,” which you stabilize against the inside of your forearm when in the firing position. Or, you can stabilize the Blade against your cheek for a perfect, steady sight picture.

Features:
– Fits all pistols equipped with a standard AR-15 pistol buffer tube (up to 1.25″ in diameter)—AR pattern, Glock, CZ Scorpion Evo 3, HK9X pattern, etc.
– Available in black and flat dark earth (this listing is for black)
– Quick and easy to install
– Provides additional support during firing
– Weighs a scant 5.0 ounces
– ATF approved for pistol use (approval letter included with each stabilizer)
– Veteran designed, engineered, marketed, and sold
– Made in U.S.A.

The buffer tube is from KAK and these are the specs on the current tube-

KAK Industry has developed a custom buffer tube for the Blade pistol stabilizer. Named the KAK Shockwave tube, the class 3 hard-anodized tube features 12 length-adjustment settings. Its anti-rotation and anti-thrust design mean that the Blade stays put without sliding forward or spinning. The tube is flush with rear of Blade when it’s installed fully forward. When installed fully out, the assembly is incredibly rigid. Being of the castle nut design, the KAK Shockwave tube accepts all carbine buffer systems, mil-spec receiver endplates, and aftermarket endplates.

Yeah I think my pistol build is destined to be Multicam if I can find anyone in the area capable of Cerakote.
