It's a totally different design than the Raptor. The entire charging handle was built from the ground up so it feels and works differently than anything out there. The Raptor is a proven charging handle that people love. The Avalanche has many more moving parts and not designed to compete with military grade charging handles out there but geared more to the enthusiast market where customization and uniqueness is desired. We know you will love it. And yes, Gost, we have one with your name on it.

docsherm, The texture you see is the texture we are using. It's not too aggressive but gives great grip. We wanted these to be comfortable with bare hands as well.

The lens I got is rated better than most red ring lenses... Only reason it doesn't have one is because canon refuses to put a red ring on a crop sensor lens...

Slight delay. Basically, there was a minor issue, which for most would have meant nothing, but RA wasn't satisfied, so they sent them back, and waiting on a new batch. Hopefully another week or so.

I understand your frustration with any new products coming out in the firearms industry. Seems like release dates keep getting pushed back like clockwork.

However, you probably also know how unforgiving the firearms industry is if you produce crap. They've finalized the design for now, so you should literally see it in a week or two. Believe me, they aren't making money withholding product/sales, so they want to get it out as fast as possible.
