I thought everyone knew it was a beckoning cat. There is a good possibility that shooters using rifles with TACTICAT lowers will have reduced split times and will be able to shoot sub-MOA groups without match ammo.

In the end it could be cheaper alternative to buying to MK262 and Geiselle triggers! Just stock up on PMC, let 'er rip, and witness A zone hits with M249 like speed brought to you courtesy of Tacticat!

That is some of the nicest looking engraving I have seen. Just wish I could find someone to do small batch work. The few places I have talked to about doing engraving wanted to start discussion at hundreds of pieces. It actually costs more than having it CNC engraved.

The guy who engraved my trust info on the lowers i've Form 1'd also deep laser engraves logos, pictures, basically anything you want. You could DIY a WEVO forged lower. He does awesome work, and is local so you don't have to send your lower out. PM me if you want his contact info.

I personally like the standard WEVO, but that will also partially depend on how the initial set looks.

Tacticat is meh to me. Would much rather spend it on the standard WEVO. If standard falls through, the Tacticat would have to turn out really nice for me to be persuaded.

The pages you've linked are people's personal preferences. No one said you shouldn't, they just listed the reasons they prefered forged. Some of us have never owned a billet set, a Noveske Gen 3 is the only billet lower I've had so far.

I think the real difference between a quality forged and a quality billet lower are pretty minimal. The forged may be slightly stronger in the long run and on paper, but there are plenty of quality billet lowers that will stand up to some extreme abuse.

Ascetically I think billet lowers can look better and I do think they offer performance benefits out of the box that you don't get when you go with a standard forged milspec type lower.

All comes down to personal preference as long as your buying a quality product imo.

At 659 for an essentially stripped lower with a butt stock I would have to pass on that. Could probably justify a billet mod3 set for around 4ish, but 650 is just painful for a lower. If I was made of money or a professional may be my stance would be different.
