I've decided I will stick with the more common ammo cartridges for the most part. I have decided that I will work with having .223/5.56, .308 (7.62x51), 7.62x39, 30-06 and .300 Blackout as primary cartridges. Later I'll decide if I want to add an off the wall cartridge type.

Luis I have a stripped Aero upper receiver that was sold as a blem but I can't find anything wrong with it. If you want it it's yours. PM me your shipping info.

If that Blackout shoots as well as Rainier's .308 and 5.56 Ultramatch barrels I don't think you will find a more accurate barrel for a build. Since its a pistol length gas system I would highly recommend an adjustable gas block for that barrel. I think you will find the supersonic rounds to be over gassed with that barrel.

I bought a 2mm ball driver for my SLR adjustable block... the shaft on the tool is 11" long. It fits in there perfectly with about 3" to spare.My gas block is way up under there. They also make 8" versions I think.

I've got a gas block I'm not using. It's a used Troy low profile, nothing special but it's all you if you want it.

i now there different size i need a micro gas block the SMOS its very narrow its like 1 1/2 wide from the inside

Just take off that A2 front sight, the hand guard, the delta ring assembly, pull out the gas tube and remove the barrel nut. Put on the new barrel nut, slide in the gas tube, install the low profile gas block, mount the hand guard and BINGO - you're done! [:)] (plus you'll have some extra parts that will make you want to build another rifle) [:D]

Luis, when you're done, if you wont be using that Magpul handguard rail section, I could use the rail section for my rifle. I have to get another Magpul rail section at some point to be able to add my sling mount.
