Actual range time today YES!

So, instead of being at the 'unofficial' range to get some practice in I went to a private range at a friends ranch with my AR. Was able to get my red dot sighted in perfectly. It was a couple inches off initially for 100 yards. It was a little low and to the left hitting at around 8 o'clock. Richard has a bench setup with a lead sled. Now it's dead center. Where the dot is, that's where the bullet goes. I feel much better!

I need some range time ASAP. It's frustrating when the only ranges nearby are indoors, and you have to drive for approximately ever to shoot outside.

I guess I am lucky. I get about 100 yards from the back porch if I want to shoot [:D]

Just a short trip right? Lol... There are more than enough ranges whether they be high quality "professional" type or just a backyard in the middle of BFE!

UW still needs to come hang out sometime and check out the ranges.
