As many of you know, we are a bit behind schedule on the launch of our Glock mags. At some point ,in the middle of this project, we decided to add a few items to the mix. We knew this was going to add some time to the overall project, but due to the overwhelming response we felt the delay was well worth it. We will be posting pictures of some of these prototypes, note that all of these Glock mags will be made with the same smoke material as our AR15 mags and will also be compatible with all aftermarket floorplates for Glock mags. That said, we would like to tell you about some other mags we will be adding to our family of Glock mags.

First, the mags we already announced were the G17, G18 (32 round), G19, and G26. The new mags we decided to make are the G17 and G19 in 10 round models for restricted states. We also will be making some special mags for the TapLoader. The TapLoader is a new system for the Glock Platform that allows the user to release the slide, and chamber the first round of the mag by simply "tapping" the mag in when loading it. Upon initial release, the TapLoader will be available for the G19, with other models following shortly.

We will also be making a 22 round, 9mm Glock mag that is 141mm long. Making it legal for several competitive shooters. This 22 Round mag is only slightly longer than a regular G17 mag and we believe it will fill the gap between the 17 round G17 mags and the 32 round G18 mags.

Also, due to overwhelming requests, we decided to go ahead and take the plunge and make a .40 cal mag for the Glock platform. We will be releasing our mag for the G22 at the same time as our 9mm mag launch. We are very excited about these .40 cal mags and we will be following up with a few more .40 cal versions shortly.

We want to thank everyone for their patience during this process. We expect the first production run to be shipping around the end of July. Dealers, please contact us now to get your orders in, the first production run is almost completely sold out.

Below is a list of all of the Glock platform mags we will be making, and pricing.

9mm Models MSRP
G17 $16.99
G17 (10 Round) $17.99
G18 (32 Round) $21.99
G19 $16.99

G19 TapLoader $19.99
G26 $16.99
9mm (22 Round) $21.99

.40 cal Models MSRP
G22 $16.99

Haha. We have some Gen 3s and 4s around here. I thought we would kick it old school for those pics. That poor gun has seen sooo many rounds. But it still runs great and is still pretty accurate.

Been wondering what you guys have been up to since we haven't heard from you in a while.

And wow - I would say, the time was worth the wait!

Good stuff guys.

Now ... if you could make a Glock drum, that'd be great [BD]

If I understand correctly, the baseplate comes off without the hassle of the OEM version. Good move.

Correct. Completely compatible with OEM and aftermarket floorplates, but still very easy to remove our floorplates. Simply push in the little button and then slide the floorplate forward. You won't need extra hands or tools to compress the sides of the mag while sliding our floorplate off. I think everyone is really going to love our system.

Here is a picture of some of the first production 22 round 9mm models. These will be 141mm and USPSA legal. They are very nice and not much longer than a G17 mag.

Definitely looking forward to seeing how the G19 and G17 mags turn out.

I'm not an expert on Glock mags so this may be a dumb question, but will these be compatible with other platforms like the 9mm Kryss or the AR lowers that are made to accept glock mags?

ETSGroup
19 July 2015, 15:46
If it's made to accept glock mags they should work. That said, we have not been able to try them in every different gun that accepts glock mags yet, but they should work.

Hello everyone,
I posted this over on the AR forum and thought I would post it here as well.... We have begun taking pre-orders on our transparent glock mags. We will be making them in 9mm for the G17, G18 (31 round), G19, G26, and a 9mm 22 round 140mm competition mag. We will also be making the G17 and G19 mags in 10 round models for limited states. the G22 .40 mag will be avail in a couple of weeks once we are done making the 9mm mags. Our glock mags are fully compatible with glock oem and aftermarket baseplates. Our mags are easy to disassemble. And of course, they are made from the same groundbreaking material that our AR mags are made from.

Pricing is as follows:
G17, G19, G26, and G22 mags MSRP $16.99
G17 and G19 10 rounders MSRP $17.99
G18 (31 Rounder) and G17 (22 Rounder) MSRP $21.99

We are taking pre-orders on our site right now and they will ship on Nov. 5th, in about 2 weeks. We are also offering a 15% discount during the pre-order, just enter code glock at checkout.

I received my ETS mags today and my first impression is that they don't feel very robust. The plastic reminds me of something from a toy. It feels much more rigid than the plastic in Glock OEM mags - like they may not respond well to impacts on hard surfaces. Obviously there is no metal lining to include the feed lips. I'm not one to baby my gear so I plan to use these for training and treat them like OEM Glock mags. I also plan to leave them full when not using them to see if the feed lips crack.

I do like the base pads. They have a small ridge on each side to help stripping them from the weapon. The mags were easy to fill and insert into a pistol with the slide closed.

The plastic is smoked, much darker than I was expecting based upon the website photos. Not that it's bad - they still provide plenty of visibility - just different. Could be the lighting. Could be the lots will vary when they make them.

I bought them as an experiment so I'll update as I work with them.

I've used them the last two weekends and they are working as advertised. I've made sure not to keep them from hitting the concrete or gravel when ejected. I keep them full when not using them to see how the feed lips hold up. The 22nd round is still a pain to get into the mag.

Voodoo, are the folks putting the TTI pads on the 22 rounders using the TTI spring or the DTS spring?

I havnt seen anyone do it to a 22rnder and ive only seen them do it on a 17rnder....using tti springs.

I am going to try and use tti pad and spring on a 22nrder and see how it functions. I expect it not to. But will report back.

The limited mags have an internal rib that essentially makes them a single stack mag only allowing 10 rounds.

I finally got mine for the Glock 19. I like it! The spring is really stout, making the last round fun to get in for the first few cycles, but function has been flawless. The floor-plate has a tiny extended lip on the sides for extra grip when stripping the mag out, but not enough to be in the way. Well done!
