Could easily mount a gopro/fpv camera in line with the irons. Would actually be pretty easy to make shots connect I would imagine.

I think you'd be surprised how hard aerial gunnery can be, even with a pintle mount, let alone a fixed, forward-firing gun.

Well it would be a better alternative to what the guy in the video has, probably flying line of sight. I am not saying it would be pretty, accurate, or practical, but it would be extremely easy to mount a camera on that, wouldn't be much harder than a flight sim.

True, but think about it for a second... You can only shoot line-of-sight. So unless you're eye level with the target (so basically hovering at ~4-5 feet) and only in a hover, you can't articulate the gun down and you can't hit a target. Once you start attaching servos to move the gun, things get complicated, in addition to the already stout recoil after every shot.

I thought I read a while back about not having a solenoid (or other) actuated firearm, as it falls under some NFA purview.
