My favorite duo. The flash comps are great. I visited my Recce 7 mod 3 and Rev 9 in jail yesterday. FYI for factory Glock 19 threaded barrels: Order the 13.5mm piston also as the Rev comes standard with the 1/2x28.

I would visit my Recce 5 Mod 3 but the drive is too long (3 hours) and hopefully I am close to a jail break anyway. I've been waiting for a little over 2 months...

Thanks to the WEVO crew for the opportunity to belong to this growing community. We have been long time readers of WEVO and are excited to be involved in a more official manner. Thank you to those who have followed us previously; we wouldn't have the great products we have were it not for consumer support. We are honest, hard working, normal guys and love supporting the 2nd amendment and freedom by cranking out quality kit.

In appreciation for this community we want to offer a WEVO discount code to forum members only. PM us here on the forum for the coupon code which can be used on our website, www.GriffinArmament.Com (http://www.griffinarmament.com)

As far as group buys there isn't a point to having one when you can PM us for a discount code. Its much easier for us and you will get your product faster without having to depend on the logistics of a group buy.

A representative from GRIFFIN will try to be actively involved in this community. However, our main focus is on manufacturing and it is not unusual for us to take a couple days to respond. If you need something ASAP you can always shoot us an email to the info account at griffinarmament.com and we will try to check PM's frequently.

Welcome to Weapon Evolution boards!

Hopefully I can use the discount to get another muzzle device for the latest version RECCE 5 I bought last month that just cleared F3 and on its way to F4 status. The newest M4SD-II looks badass and I want it. And the OTB...

Two tour OIF vet here as well.

All natural lighting. I came home and went to the back yard and took a few snaps... if I would have been more patient I might could have waited for better light as the sun was going down.

I am so glad I was patient and saved spent a little more to get what I REALLY wanted in the way of a rifle. I am still very pleased with what I did :) BTW I can tag a steel plate at 800 yards with that rifle right there.

That's the comp, not the flash hider but I am using my imagination.

That is the minimalist brake that comes with the can. Up until recently that was the only 'minimalist' thing they offered... but recently they released a new product...

I don't have one of those yet... but I do have one of these:

Yes, I see I forgot to replace the rear sight.

Yeah I really like it! It's pretty brand new. Maybe a month or two? (guessing)

Anyway for Pyzik the mini brake is 1.34" long and the new mini flash hider is 1.8" long... so basically add 1/2" to the pics and that's what you got.

I have a second Recce7 on order to cover a long and short each of 300 and 556. Since the long guns will have cans only part time I figure the flash comp is best (or full size brake) and the mini-brake to save can wear on the mostly suppressed SBRs. I can't see a role for the mini-flash except for minimum length for an SBR that won't often wear a can.

What are you going to put it on? Just curious. That one comes in all different thread pitches... You can get em for an AK, 308, or 5.56...

Ah! I am looking at your specs so far... what barrel length are you going with?

The Optimus will come with a mini brake like the one on my rifle so anything you buy will be in addition to that...You can pick what thread you want it in too.

All of the taper mounts will work for you, it just depends which one will be more pleasing to the eye for your build. Really you can't go wrong.

Gonna be 16". (5.56).

I am going with a Flash hider on this build rather than a brake just for looks.

The mini brake that comes with the can will go on my 18" since that'll be the only rifle that will need one and that rifle will probably only be shot with the can anyway.

When it comes time to remove (cut off?) my battlecomp I'll put the comp/flash hider combo taper mount on that gun (14.5").
