I get the idea behind suppressor wraps... that being to not burn the holy hell out of yourself when the can gets hot. [:D]

That said, what kind of material are they made out of and where do you get them?

Is there any particular type or brand that is better? About what would one expect to spend on something like that?

I think a lot use wraps to eliminate mirage.

Good point.

So it's to help not burn the **** of yourself and to help eliminate mirage.

Anything else?

COOL.

So that brings up the point of which one would be a correct fit for a Griffin Recce 5 Mod 3.

I would think the 1.5x6" would be the correct wrap. Those people at Elite Iron are awesome so you could likely call and ask them any questions you have.

The Elite Iron wraps are more for bolt guns and limited semi auto, as per their site.

I use Rifles Only FTW suppressor cover, it'll handle more.

I've been wondering which one to get. Suppressor mirage sucks with a high magnification scope.

These don't break the bank, and liking how you can choose colors. I am going to pick a couple up in the very near future to try

I've got a Griffon Industries HMMS.

SKD Tactical also carries them:

You know bargain and Griffon Industries don't go together. [BD]

Is it worth it over the elite iron? Temp rating is higher but this would only be for a bolt gun.

I've been searching for a cover too and I had the opportunity to handle and inspect Armageddon Gear's suppressor cover and was impressed with the quality and how much they help with mirage.
Price is right in there @ $70-75

I ordered two (multicam & black) yesterday for my Saker 7.62 when it arrives in a couple days.

Up until recently Armageddon gear was my goto, but I ended up getting the FTW H.A.D. from Rifle's Only, and it's hands down the best suppressor cover I've ever used. Yes, I know the owners, and I take photos for them, but I also know the owners of Armageddon Gear and T.A.B. Gear, but the H.A.D. and M.A.D. covers in my opinion still take the top place right now. If I weren't using FTW though, my immediate next choice would be Armageddon or T.A.B. over Elite Iron or Griffon.

Honestly, probably not. I only have a Griffon because I got a massive discount on it.

I have the Bowers cover it works but when it gets really hot it slides a bit and starts to look like a tan fleshlight .
