This is for a friend of mine who is currently pasturing my horse.
He has the Burris prism scope on his AR 10 (and yes, I have fired that rifle a few times - I like that scope). What I like about that scope is the eye relief and the reticule plus it is black when off or red or green when on.
Anybody know where he can get a CMC trigger at a decent cost? He was looking at Timney triggers and they cost over 220 bucks. He'd like a trigger that's around 3½ pounds pull weight for his AR 10 at a little bit less expensive.
I'll help him find one and I have recommended the CMC triggers.
I'm not taking any profit at all for my help and I will install his new trigger for him. my horse is currently pasturing on his land with plenty of food to eat.
I'm just trying to trade a favor.
He' s happy to get a good trigger for around $150. Best price I've found for him for that Burris is $289. I don't think I can find anything better with that kind of reticule at that price point for him.
As always, your opinions and input are appreciated. Richard is quite dead set on the scope though since he wants the same scope on his AR 15 that he has on his AR 10. Both his AR 15 an AR 10 are off the shelf DPMS flat top rifles. He's into his earlier 70's in age now. The trigger he is open to. His shooting range is where i sighted in my AR optics with his bench rest setup.
Yes, I want to help him.
