I know that selfies are popular these days. My 5 year old daughter loves taking them, but are you for grown men taking them? I personally hate cameras, and can't stand to be in pictures. What is your stance on selfies?

Unless you are a chick that looks at least this good then, no, you should not be taking selfies.

It's sort of like the spandex rule that no one follows.

Not fan of selfies. I don't get the whole look at me thing. If I was out of state or Out of country sending stuff back to my wife and kids that's one thing. But every time you go to a restaurant or the bathroom is just friggin odd.

Honestly, selfies are about getting "likes" from "friends" on FB to help boost ego IMO. That's really what FB is all about (ego boost).

nope to the selfies so much, that I got rid of something I had been working on for awhile. One of the fun things to do on my boat while waiting for shrimp pots to fill up (besides blowing shit up) is to find the Dahl porpoise and let them play with the boat. I found that at 10-12mph they will ride the bow wave and have fun with you. So one day I thought it would be cool to try and get it on video. So I found a carbon fiber pole on ebay, mounted a gopro mount on it, and voila!

That is, up until I took some friends out and while running around showing them the sights, I look back on the back deck and he's using my underwater pole as a 'selfie stick' for him and his girlfriend all while making goofy assed faces and dumbassed hand signs.

I got rid of the pole as all I could see it as was a selfie pole anymore. I got my video of the porpoise... that was good enough for me.

Every fish deserves a selfie, and I am one to oblige. Anyone who follows me on Instagram knows this.

Honestly the fish selfie thing started as a joke between my friends and I and now collectively we probably have a few thousand of them. I do see guys taking selfies of their outfits though. That's kinda over the top. The 'attack' video was in Prince William Sound, one of the most beautiful places on earth. I spend most of my time off there in April and May filling shrimp pots. And that video does NOT do it justice...

I'm good with "fish selfies" too. I think I took a selfie when I was in the hospital 3 1/2 years ago. It was to let friends know what was up. It wasn't pretty and I didn't attempt "duck lips."

I hope to learn the complete process and help out where I can. Currently just prepping handles but got a test blank to start practicing the annealing and differential process on. I think the hardest part is going to be getting the bevel grinds even.
