:( ugggg $400. Don't get me wrong is a nice barrel but not ever body has a money tree in their back yard

Money tree or not that barrel is over priced. For that kind of coin I would expect 410 stainless. Not a huge fan of 416R as it is. It gives up far to much in the name of machining ease. Compromised corrosion resistance and the propensity to stress crack are well known issues with that grade stainless.

•.625" GAS BLOCK DIA.

•PISTOL LENGTH GAS SYSTEM

These are the two things that I had to re-look at. Is it a .300 BO or 5.56. A 10.5" 5.56 barrel with a Pistol Gas System?????? Why the step down for the diameter of the gas block? It looks like they could have run the thickness a little more and did a .750 block instead.

The Gas System has me scratching my head..........Interesting.....in a weird way.

Bingo, should have been 410. That's why I think BCM Stainless barrels are underrated.

The barrel in the photo is clearly a carbine length gas system. Likely just misprints

Under rated and very fairly priced IMO.

Interesting, but at that price it's a bit too much.
