Wanting an M-LOK rail for a 16 inch intermediate build.

Here are my 2 choices:

For a few odd reasons, I voted for the Geissele. $35 cheaper / inch longer (more real estate) / same installed weight

Geissele, only because I have no experience with the Wedgelock yet. I'm sure both units are solid and you can't go wrong.

But I'd also look at the Midwest Industries.

I'm mobile but I say mk8 between the two mentioned. I also second the Midwest rail.

Gost will vote wedge lock because he has a small fetish with wedgelock and hodge... [BD]

I own a MK4 and it is nice but I voted Wedge Lock. The two rails are very different in profile and diameter. The Wedge Lock is considerably thinner. I would pick which one you want depending on diameter.

And you have a fetish with the Mary Poppins logo on that unbuilt lower.

I love the 9.5" MK8 I just got this week... So I'm going to have to go with Geissele here.

I'd say go with the Geissele also. They make great products.

The new pricing on the Geissele rails makes them tough to pass up (plus coming with the GB). Also, they're great rails.

Wedgelock feels MUCH more ergonomic in the hands.

I'd also second a look at Midwest. My 9" weighs 7oz installed including the nut, and I love the ergonomics. The new nut design and all the mlok slots make it even better.
