This is on sale for $30; anyone used one? Interested in it for a lightweight, compact, light for my HD rifle to replace my big & heavy Army-standard SureFire. I know it's not going to be as bright as the sun, but it looks interesting

I have a buddy who has one on his AR pistol and he likes it. It's actually not a bad little unit, and holds up to recoil well. That said, it's essentially a keychain light and not very bright. It would be plenty to identify a target at close range though.

It would be for inside HD use only if it goes on a "fighting" rifle. I like the red light capability and may end up using it on my AR for hunting
