Handguards 10-12in

Currently waiting on a tax stamp for a 12.5" build, and started looking at handguard options. In order to keep track of everything I decided to put the list into Excel, sorted by length. Although I'm focused on rails in the 11" to 11.8" range, figured I'd expand the list a little and share with everyone. Hoping this can be something we can expand on over time, and make changes/corrections as needed.

Thanks for the post. I also am working on a 12.5", the 2 handguards I'm considering are the 12" 2A Armament Balios Lite M-LOK and the Hodge Defense 11.5" Wedge Lock. Don'y if you've seen this pic from MicroMOA's site of the 2A Balios and their 12.5" barrel. There are also some more pics if you follow the link.

Yep, I'm planning on using a MicroMOA barrel and gas block. Just haven't decided on the carbine or mid-length yet (leaning towards carbine). That 2A Balios really does look sweet. I've seen a couple posts/pictures of the Hodge Defense stuff, but haven't been able to get more details on the 11.5 wedge lock.

I'm using the Triarc 12.5" mid-length fluted, same barrel as the MicroMOA. I've got one of the newer ones with the recessed crown and angled gas port. They say it should cycle steel case ammo like Tula fine.

I second the 2A balios. Next build I do after the San tan will be using their stuff.

12.5" are super nice. Here's a 12.5 we just finished with noveske barrel and a NSR-11.
